Unconventional assets in Vaca Muerta

We hold a strategic position in Vaca Muerta with 230,000 acres in one of the most competitive unconventional formations in the world, with an estimated potential of 200,000 BOE/d (145,000 BPD of oil and 300 MMscf/d of gas), including more than 1,500 horizontal wells to be developed.

With an initial commitment of USD 44 million, this potential is backed by existing midstream infrastructure built over decades of conventional production, which facilitates access, evacuation and transportation of unconventional oil and gas.

Gas storage

We turn seasonality into available energy: we store gas and turn it into strategic reserves that strengthen energy security all year round.

We operate two main gas storage projects: Estación Fernández Oro and the Mendoza Sur Cluster, both with a capacity of around 300 MMSCFD and access to strategic pipelines serving local and export markets.

Conventional oil and gas operations

We produce around 22,500 boe/d from mature and developing conventional fields, including 11,500 bpd of oil and gasoline, 43 tonnes per day of LPG, and 65 MMSCFD of gas.

In 2025, we took over the operation of Cañadón León – Meseta Espinosa, Clúster Mendoza Sur and Estación Fernández Oro.
